PulseTor designs, builds and distributes the highest performance Silicon Drift Detectors (SDDs) as well as SDD-optimized preamplifiers and digital pulse processors. Our products are designed with user-upgrades in mind, enabling LN-free SD detectors to interface with any existing X-Ray system currently in the field, plug and play. We do not offer EDS software, but rather focus on the front-end hardware; consequently, we work closely with manufacturers of EDS systems or third party software partners to ensure that they have the highest performance input to their comprehensive software packages.
We offer a full range of SDD spectrometers, from nominal 10 to 40 square millimeters in active area. The MAXIM SDD interfaces directly to the pulse processor of your existing Si(Li)-based EDS system and delivers improved resolution and faster analyses, while eliminating the need for liquid nitrogen.
